Animal Communication Agreement By applying for an appointment with Raisa Stone, you agree to the following: Raisa Stone is an Animal Communicator. She does not represent herself as giving veterinary, medical, financial or psychotherapeutic advice, nor veterinary or medical treatment. Animal Communication is meant to foster understanding and harmony between human and animal. The client is 100% responsible for any action taken based on interpretation of a session(s). While a session may include many animals, sessions are exclusively one on one in regards to human clients. Third parties require a much greater expenditure of energy, and pets may prefer to not answer certain questions in their presence. No speakerphones or extensions. Discovery during a session that a third party is listening in, may result in termination without compensation. Sessions are for animals owned by the applicant, in their foster care, in a public facility such as a shelter or zoo, or for wildlife. If Raisa discovers that the applicant has requested her services for a third party's animal, she may terminate the session and charge an administrative fee for work already completed. Fee schedule below. Session notes which Raisa forwards are her copyright. They are for my personal use only, and may not be published nor reproduced in any manner without her written permission. This includes but is not limited to social media, digital and hard copy publications. I am responsible for calling Raisa at the phone number she provides, and I assume long distance charges. Raisa does not take on lost pets. I further agree to the following: a. If I need to reschedule, I am required to give Raisa Stone minimum 24 hours notice. b. If I miss my appointment for any reason, without giving Raisa 24 hours notice for rescheduling, I will be charged the full session fee. I understand my session time is according to Pacific Standard Time. This is Vancouver, BC Canada on the World Clock. I am responsible for finding out the corresponding time in my own Zone. c. I am nineteen (19) years of age or older, of sound mind, and not under the influence of mind altering drugs. d. If I give permission for my phone or in person session to go over the allotted time, I will be billed for the additional time. This extra time will be prorated at the current session rate. e. As Raisa expends time and energy evaluating and contacting each animal, I understand that discounted session packages are for the same animal(s) as in my initial session. f. Sessions and session packages are sold to one client only, and may not be split. Each client must enter into a separate agreement with Raisa Stone. g. The terms of this agreement will remain in effect for future sessions, unless terms are changed explicitly in writing and agreed to in writing, by both parties. h. I agree to pay Raisa Stone her session fee of $150 per hour, which includes up to two pets. Additional pets are billed at $75 each. i. I agree that by submitting materials to Raisa Stone, I am responsible for all associated fees. Session payment is due and payable the same day I submit my Information Form, and payment must be made within 3 days of submitting this Information Form. If I do not pay for the session within this time, I immediately owe an administrative and consultation fee of $100. Interest is calculated at 20% annually, calculated monthly. Raisa Stone may provide further services at her discretion, but is not obligated to do so. Her regular Administrative fee is $100/hour. I agree to pay an Administration fee for correspondence, research and phone calls beyond what is necessary to arrange a session(s), at $100/hour, billed in quarter hour increments. This includes labeling unlabeled photos for clients, for which Raisa will first request permission to undertake and invoice. Raisa's hours are clearly posted. After hours contact is billed at $200/hour, with a $50 minimum extra charge, i.e. for one half hour. Travel charges for home visits are billed at $50 per hour, per round trip. Home visits are strictly at Raisa's discretion, and she may refuse to attend a location in favour of a phone appointment. Travel charges for workshops and the like are billed per private agreement, and must be paid in advance at time of session fee. Completion of a session and its payment is not dependent upon completion of a home visit. j. An animal's death during a contracted period does not void this contract. They may be contacted in spirit by Raisa. The sale or rehoming of an animal does not void this contract. A new owner must consent to their animal being communicated with. k. The content of Terms of Service may change without notice to individuals. It is my responsibility to read and accept these terms before applying for a session. The three elements necessary to book a session with Raisa are: -Labeled jpg photos, as described on her website -The completed Information Form -Payment No refunds. Failure to provide requested information as above, in whole or in part, or a change of mind, does not constitute grounds for refund. A session may be booked any time for one year after payment is made. Submission of one or more of these elements constitutes agreement with all these Terms of Service, and is a binding contract. Raisa expends considerable time and energy from the moment she opens photos and the Information Form, and must be compensated for this. I acknowledge that I have read the above, have thoroughly reviewed and understand its contents, and that I am giving my informed consent and it is my intent to agree to this contract. I release Raisa Stone from any and all legal responsibility. Forms received after noon PST Friday, may not be acknowledged until Monday. No Saturday evening or Sunday calls except for Urgent Sessions. Urgent sessions (24 hours notice or less) are billed at $50 above the regular session fee per hour, with a $50 minimum. Urgent and after hour sessions are billed an additional $50 for each hour exceeding the first, pro-rated.
